Broadway Bandbox Show Opening / All or Nothing at All Songtext

Tonight the Columbia broadcasting system opens a new little theatre
The Broadway Bandbox with songs by Sinatra
And music by Scott

And here is Frank Sinatra

This love of mine
Goes on and on
For life is empty
Since you have gone

Thank you thank you everybody
This is Frank Sinatra inviting you to our first performance in the Bandbox
This evening we′ll hear from Raymond Scott and his orchestra
The Bobby Toke Singers
And as our special guests we have lovely Allen Werland
Star of the Broadway hit "Doe girls"
And for my first song tonight
I'll like to sing a tune I recorded with my dear friend and first boss Harry James
And it′s called "All or nothing at all"

All or nothing at all
Half a love, never appealed to me
If your heart, never could yield to me
Then I'd rather, rather have nothing at all

All, or nothing at all
If it's love, there is no in between
Why begin then cry, for something that might have been
No I′d rather, rather have nothing at all
So, please don′t bring your lips so close to my cheek
Don't smile or I′ll be lost beyond recall
The kiss in your eyes, and the touch of your hand makes me weak
And my heart may grow dizzy and fall

And if I fell, under the spell of your call
I would be, caught in the undertow
And so you'll see, I′ve got to say no, no
All or nothing at all
