We fought for this song for like, five years

I had struggled with writing a melody for this one
And this was towards the end of the process of the record
Where I was just like, "Alright, what's next," you know?

And it was, you know, it was about warfare for me
Like I said on the last track, you know
And it's, uh, it′s about my sinful nature
It′s about, you know, the flame
How many times I just keep touching that flame
I keep getting burnt, and keep going back to that flame
It's like, when am I gonna learn?

And, uh, you know, I believe the Devil
Comes to me in many different forms
You know, I feel that, that I′ve, I


She can be sexy, you know what I'm saying?
She can be a bottle of booze

She could be a bag of pills

And, uh, that's a very powerful song, you know
I feel like it′s one of the best songs on the record
I feel that that song live will fucking just create the sickest mood
You know, I feel like that should be a song in the live set
