The city lights are going out
But everyone is awake
The clouds above is hiding what we′re waiting for
There's a child she stands alone
She′s gazing up at the sky
She says the thing you call democracy was just a lie

We're all informed what we could change
To leave a world that still makes sense
Instead we choose to die of ignorance

The marching sound across the street
It trembles over this land
With naked feet on broken glass she makes a stand
The fire rains around her head
She's starring in to the end
The thing we called humanity is finally dead

When the city lights are going out
And when it comes to an end
By broken dreams by fucked up teens

When the last of us will disappear
Like shadows in to the night
The broken ones the fighting sons

They′re rolling in with waving guns
With medals pinned to their chest
They talk about a greater cause like all the rest
I see a man with shiny boots
He′s visions given by god
