Sprawling forth amidst the seas
In the bloom of her virginity
Rose beyond belief, Psyche

The alter lays bare blood stained shrines
Once glistening grows full of disquiet
We forged the frontier spring thaw at our sides
Man, we bought the lot, Psyche

Black death at our heels we slept for days
In love the distance an endless wake
Towing behind our weathered braid
Rudder and sail bend, Psyche

Adorned in lamentations those tears, those tears
The storm clears, Psyche, your fears what fears
Silence in our deep sleep of chasity
We′re in the doldrums, Psyche

Naught imaginable was missing
The outcome was unordained
The voices you hear are your handmaids
Performing unseen for you, Psyche

Reckless lamps stealing the night conspire
Resume wandering the idle oceans to inspire
A rare reflection, there are no weddings
