I had to find a way for my soul to break out
At first my soul search started in church
But soon I realized why that wouldn't work


There was a corrupt pope
Stash the cash behind the mantle
Plus the chapel couldn′t handle the light from our candle
So I decided to travel lease
On a quest and a journey to find inner peace

Ask many questions about the soul
I spoke with yogis, sufis, swamis, monks in robes
Modern mystics who studied metaphysics around the globe

Learned about the ancient science and philosophy
Yoga, meditation, and mythology
More than just purely intellectual
I myself became more knowledgeable
Learned to breath slow
Let go of my ego
Sayin' I will try to see God in all the people


I came to realize that I wish we all see

Now I pray every day as we travel the road
That we find a way back into our own soul
