The winter stars a glittering
Shining on the freshly fallen snow
When the blue light of the moon
Is giving off a loving winterglow


Such a tender feeling when
The candlelight a flickering
In the window calls you home
And the fireplace is crackling
Giving off a warming winterglow

Summer with its nights that
Last forever has its charm
Fall the golden leaves that gather too
Spring is all the brighter after
April storms have flown
But winter has a magic of its own
