This has always been a word planned
God designed it that way
See, He spoke the universe into being (teach it!)
In Genesis, the first chapter (yeah!)

For the Earth was without form and void, and
Darkness was on the face of the deep
But God, the Speaking Spirit, spoke and said
"Let there be light", and there was light!

So, I wanna know, how many people are excited about The Word tonight?
I said, are you excited about The Word tonight?
If you are excited, get up, and we′re gonna just celebrate The Word together
Ah, here we go, y'all, talk to ′em, tell 'em, and say it, yeah

The Word of the Lord is great (it's great), eternal (eternal)
And it shall last from age to age (it shall last from age to age)
The Word of the Lord is great (uh-huh) and powerful (yeah)
He honors it above His name (He honors it above His name, ah)

Oh, but if I go over to Isaiah
What chapter speaks about how His Word operates?
(Isaiah 55 and 11)
(What does He say in Isaiah? He said)

So shall My Word go forth (what?)
And it shall not return void (what?)
Accomplish that (what) which I please (it prosper)
Prosper in (yeah, y'all) anything (so we say)

The Word of the Lord is great, eternal (yeah!)
And it shall last from age to age (it shall last from age to age)
The Word of the Lord is great (ah-huh) and powerful (yes!)
He honors it above His name


The words I have spoken, they are spirit and they are life
(John 6 and 6, decree it)
I′m alert and active, always watchin' over My Word to perform it
(Jeremiah 1 and 12) take me back to Isaiah

So shall My Word go forth (what?)
And it shall not (yeah) return void (but accomplish)
Accomplish that (that) which I please (prosper)
Prosper in (yeah) anything (so what we say here?)

(He honors it)

Yeah, come on, somebody
Open up your mouth and celebrate The Word tonight
Come on, let′s celebrate The Word
Thank God for the Word
It's keeping you, it′s keeping your family
It's keeping your finances
It's canceling your debt, y′all, say

(The Word) it′s working for ya
(The Word) it's blessing yo′ family, yes
(The Word) The Word is holding yo' marriage together

(The Word) The Word is healing yo′ body
