Every education system on earth has the same hyrirachy of subjects
At the top are
Are mathematics
And languages
Every where on earth
Everywhere on earth
So you were probably steered benignantly away from things at school when you were a kid
Things you liked
On the grounds you would never get a job doing that
Never get a job doing that
Is that right? Every where on earth
Don′t do music you're not going to be a musician
Don′t do art you won't be an artists
Benign advice
Now profoundly mistaken
And the consequence is that many highly talented
Brilliant
Creative people they're not
Because the thing they were good at at school wasn′t valued
Or was actually stigmatised
And for the future it won′t service

What you do in life chooses you
You choose not to do it
Not to do it
You can choose to
Try to do something safer
You can choose to do something safer
Your vocation chooses you.

Are education system has mined our minds
In the way that we strip-mined the earth

Now I don′t mean to say that being wrong is the same thing as being creative
What we do know is
If you′re not prepared to be wrong

We are educating people out of their creative capacity
Re-think the fundamental principles on which we′re education our children
We have to be careful now that we use this gift wisely
By seeing our creative capacity for the richness they are
And for seeing our children for the hope that they are
And our task is to educate their whole being so they can face this future
