Peering through speckled glass
Inside safe from outside trouble
Wishing for this moment to last

Danger lurks beneath this cover
Threatening all who dare discover that
Once you step out you′ve fallen in
Taken away with the dark

Interrupted silence leaving gunshot sound in the night
Blackness cracks, gleaming long lean splinters of light


Something about the urgency
Of electrical energy rushing by
It goes through you, it goes through me
Impressions bold, sensations high
