There is a mist
All my thoughts are drowned
But I can keep my mind safe and sound
Thoughts are watered down
I′m unfound for now

Oh
Avert your eyes, the normalcy is fleeting
I can't believe in
The words I keep repeating to myself
Don′t need anybody else to tell me now

Somehow I flowered through the rain
Under the pressure of the everyday sky
Am I not worthy cause I did kinda try
Is it resilience to want to not die
And now I dress myself in rain
Cause there's no tears for me to stoically brave
No prison warranting heroic escape
Prosaic, privileged and pretend restrained


There's something broken in the mist
But I can never see through it
Cause this is probably the densest
The mist has ever been
I′m trying not too hard
So I can keep my feelings
Held tight enough to breathe in
The piercing oxygen
