Ecuador Days Songtext
von Would–Be–Goods

From the air everywhere looks the same
Sometimes I wonder why I wander
Ecuador days, Ecuador days
On the Plaza Independencia
Drown your reflection in a glass of mescal
Ecuador nights, Ecuador days

And I wonder why I wander
When nothing′s new under the sun
Still you've got to keep on moving
No turning back when your journey′s begun

From Yacachi to Sibambe
Train rolling by under a blazing sky
Ecuador days, Ecuador days
Esperanza to Cayambe
Now there is nothing but overgrown stone
Ecuador nights and Ecuador days

And I wonder why I wander
When nothing's new under the sun
Still you've got to keep on moving
No turning back when your journey′s begun
