10 Year Plan Songtext
von The Shires

I′m gonna climb the rockies
Learn to fly a plane
Buy a boat
Already putting the pennies away

Gonna cross the desert
Meditate
Learn a new language
Starting today
I've been working on a ten year plan

But if making you happy
If that′s all I can do
I'll put my dreams on the back burner, oh yeah
They mean nothing without you
Never forgetting how lucky I am
Is right at the top of my ten year plan

I'm gonna quit drinking cheap wine
Try and touch heaven on a sky-dive
I′ve found a plot on an old country road
We′ll start building our forever home
I've been working on a ten year plan

But if making you happy
If that′s all I can do
I'll put my dreams on the back burner, oh yeah
They mean nothing without you
Never forgetting how lucky I am
Is right at the top of my ten year plan

Yeah, I don′t mind but if it all falls through
If every day I get to say I love you
I've been working on a ten year plan

But if making you happy
If that′s all I can do
I'll put my dreams on the back burner, oh yeah
They mean nothing without you
Never forgetting how lucky I am
Is right at the top of my ten year plan
