Bonfire Songtext
von The Roads Below

We tear the city down on Friday night
Called up on a Vendee girl
Slow dance in the Tennessee moonlight
I got my hair slicked back and my boots on singing
La-da-da-da-da
I got my own six pack and my old six string, yeah

Oh, you know I swear to God it′s gonna be my weekend
Oh, gonna light a match here while we're drinking

Start a bonfire
It′s 2 AM, we ain't even tired
We on the roof, we're going higher and higher
Up in flames, even rain can′t end this
Got this party lit like a bonfire

We stumble from the bar to my backyard
We keep this fire burning
It doesn′t matter where we are
I throw a shotgun back with my fists up singing
La-da-da-da-da
Another bottle of Jack
Light a match and start a bonfire

Start a bonfire
It's 2 AM, we ain′t even tired
We on the roof, we're going higher and higher
Up in flames, even rain can′t end this
Got this party lit like a bonfire

And we'll be our own bartenders
Making memories we won′t remember
Popping off on this back porch bender
(Blow it up, we'll never surrender)

Start a bonfire
2 AM and I think I'm feeling tired
You know it don′t matter
You know we′re gonna

Start a bonfire
It's 2 AM, we ain′t even tired
We on the roof, we're going higher and higher
Up in flames, even rain can′t end this
Got this party lit like a bonfire
Like a bonfire
(And we'll be our own bartenders
Making memories we won′t remember)
