Sunlight comes streaming in through my window
Green leaves all dance in the breeze, but
I′m just stuck in my house all day long
I can't go and do what I please

Yeah, I could FaceTime
Or do homework online
But it just ain′t the same
I wanna see my friends
And play with my band
I wanna eat dinner at my grandma's place

Here I sit in my house feeling so blue
I'm missing you

I see the birds fly outside my window
I see the squirrels scamper by, but
I just lay here on my bed looking at them
They play outside, why can′t I?


Yeah, I could FaceTime
Or do homework online
But it just ain′t the same
I wanna go to shows
Watch baseball eat nachos
I wanna garden at my grandma's place

Here I sit in my house feeling so blue
I′m missing you

Yet now I have time to learn to crochet
Reading books all day long, and
Making noodles to stuff my face
Even writing new songs

Guess I could FaceTime
