Freedom Songtext
von The King Blues

"Is anarchism desirable? Well, who does not seek freedom?"
Johann Most

Can we keep up with
The speed we′re devolving?
Like prehistoric fish
Crawling back in the ocean
The whole thing's broken
The price of freedom?
To be a human buying
Not a human just being

We′re not supposed to live like this
To work and consume has
Become our life's meaning
Stacked up the same
From the floor to the ceiling
But if everything is
A fucking H&M then
That is not freedom
The way they treat culture
It's like it′s a war
If it doesn′t make money
They ask what it's for
The planet is dying
Yet still we are buying
All dressed in fast fashion
With a tsunami at the door

We′re not supposed to live like this
To work and consume has
Become our life's meaning
Stacked up the same
From the floor to the ceiling
But if everything is
A fucking H&M then
That is not freedom
