About the Weekend Songtext
von The Jellybricks

I′m not talking 'bout the weekend anymore
I′m done talking 'bout the weekend, that's for sure
I′ve heard about your lengthy reaches
in all the stories from the yellow breeches
I′m not talking 'bout the weekend anymore
(I′m not talking 'bout the weekend anymore)
I′m not talking 'bout the weekend anymore
(I′m not talking 'bout the weekend anymore)
I'm tryin′ not to be so paranoid
I keep thinkin′ I'll remember to avoid
these superstitious feelings, back again
to open up a bleeding wound, my friend
that′s enough until the weekend's back again
(I′m not talking 'bout the weekend anymore) I′m done talking 'bout the weekend, that's for sure
(I′m not talking ′bout the weekend anymore)
I'm done talking ′bout the weekend, baby
saturday was looking good until it came
then sunday was a lonely, crying shame
I'm telling everybody that I know
don′t tell me 'cause I′ve heard it all
and I'm not talking 'bout the weekend anymore
(I′m not talking ′bout the weekend anymore)
I'm not talking ′bout the weekend anymore
(I'm not talking ′bout the weekend anymore)
I'm done talking ′bout the weekend, that's for sure
(I'm not talking ′bout the weekend anymore)
