This next track is called the sound of failure
That has a little additional end to the song
It′s called it's dark, and it′s in always is dark
And umm, I think a lot of people are uhh
Drawn to the line and the song is
Go tell Britney and go tell Gwen
And they think umm, rightfully
They think umm, they were complaining about
Britney Spears and Gwen Stefani
Umm I could see where you could think that
From what is says on the song
But we really aren't
I don't think we actually listen to very much Britney Spears
But obviously we hear it out there on the world
Without trying too much


And I actually kind of like Gwen Strefani
Umm hi
I-I, you′re right
I just remember music
She′s interesting character
I'm glad she′s in music biz (right)
And do whatever that thing she is and she does (right)
Yeah, it's cool

Britney Spears I have to be prepared about uhh
The unsafe, uuh the way sh-
The unsafe manage she has done with her baby
I don′t like that so much (oooh, I see)
I don't care about her music (right, right, right)
I found her on the front sit on her lap without a seatbelt
That′s uhh, it's tough (right, right, right)

Umm so you do have a B for Britney, okay
But anyways on the song
Uhh the ideas were singing
From this ten point of like a seventeen year old girl
Who's uhh, who′s friend has died and she said that
She said that she′s mourning of her friend
And umm I think that the brand
The Britney and the Gwen umm in the song
I think we kinda use, use those kinda maybe metaphor
For her immature friends don't understand her plight of despair
That she′s-she's going through


And I guess we were somewhere along
On the way we′re saying this idea of
No matter what happens to you
Hey it's all good and as long as you have a lot of energy
And we smile, no nothing can ever harm us
Umm, and I think the-uh-the sentiment in the song
Is that is uhh the failure and disappointments
And this things force one a person to go
Inside themselves and then question themselves
And find out things about themselves that they wouldn′t have
If they were just having a jolly old time of it all the time

And so umm are they good the very first line is
She's starting to live her life from the inside out
She's starting to build up her inner life
This sort of thing that gets you through things
Like despair and hopelessness and existential fear
And even bad music occasionally as closer it get you through that
And as she goes into it she discover its
You know she′s embracing the thing of this darkness
And the mysteries of life and umm as the

As the song ends we get to this
This other stranger part of the song
Umm it′s actually built of a
It sound like a fourteen year old British girl saying
It's dark, is it always this dark
But it really was built of the strange little piece of
My talking that I did I
It was either before or after the song was just a piece of talking
A day Freidman grabbed and ran it through
I forget what the effect is called something like squirreled bait
Or something like that (squirreled parade)
Squirreled parade even better
And it has a little kwrkwrkwrkwrk
And you can understand why it′s called squirreled parade

And it-and it came out sounding umm almost
Exaclty like someone saying it's dark
Is it always this dark?
And it was perfect because the title
We had for this little extra bit of it was actually
Umm it′s darker than you think
That was the original title
But when she comes out and says it's dark
Is it always dark?
That′s just so perfect
And we couldn't umm
Uhh that's even better than what I was thinking of

And umm so yeah
And-and then
She′s-she′s starts going into the dark
And this mysteries and-and sort of (obviously)
Yeah, she walks away from here
Music represents that
So that's uhh
That sort of sound story in this umm
And a little bit of Britney Spears bashing
Which I didn′t do, which I even didn't
