How many times do you see a little girl child
So shattered from her little life that she can′t even smile
Too afraid to speak out of her suffering
Her spirit broken
She hasn't seen her daddy′s face in a long while
And she doesn't understand why her mama's in denial
So she turns to the streets for her comfort
She needs someone, anyone

I can see her as my own sister

Who's been hiding herself behind addiction?
She was stripped of her dreams and her dignity
