I call him flopsy

He may seem shy but he′s just very quiet
He wants to tell the truth but he is just to scared to
He is always in his head imagining defiance
He has been told to lie and the consequences are cruel

The evil ones are always near
Lurking just behind the door
Hiding beneath the bed in fear
They're always drooling for more

When the monsters come out bad things will happen
He doesn't want to talk about it cause the evil might get worse
When the monsters come there's no point in hiding
He cannot talk about it cause the trauma mutes his voice

Don′t notify anyone it won′t make a difference
No one believes any child in distress
All you can do is just sit by, watch his heart die
Watch his fuse fry and succumb to his madness
