I′ve got this book that I've been trying to read
I can′t seem to concentrate, I'm stuck on the same page
Seems like I haven't talked to you all week
The leaves are piling up outside

So why stay in here and hide
In melancholy afternoon
There′s at least a thousand things
That I ought to do

But it′s not gonna happen today
Nothing gets done when I get this way

There′s things in there that I don't need
And some that don′t belong to me

To put things in their place
