Contender Songtext
von Sudden Waves

Stay undefeated and superstitious
Take the bull by the horns
And fight the greatest
The greatest rival you can find around
Be a challenge to others
Be a contender

When the sole contender for the title fight
Humble, prepared, and a little laid-back
Visualized about a thousand times
His victory - oh his victory

Well, he discovered
That being underestimated
Is a weapon that he disregarded for too long

And he realized that in thoughts
He could be anything that he wanted
He could be a giant that moves mountains
And builds on it

Writing the rules means winning the game
Stay undefeated!
Write the rules before they do

Stay undefeated and superstitious
Take the bull by the horns
And fight the greatest rival you can find
With only one thing in mind, achieve it

When the sole contender for the title fight
Humble, prepared, and a little laid-back
Visualized about a thousand times
His victory - oh his victory

He remembered
That underdogs had no pressure
And that history′s written by newcomers
He remembered
That every single champion's there
Once were dreaming where he stands

If you ain′t winning now
Be a challenge to others, be a contender
If you ain't winning now
Be a challenge to others, be a contender
