Maybe Partying Will Help… Pt. 1 Songtext
Sublime, them cats
They got the Dalmatian in the van
And I remember Brad just laying out there in the sun, man
Like, D, Boone was just laying out there like a big sea lion kind of thing
Making me play
And people don′t really know who he is stepping over
Like, D, Boone getting pulled off the stage by bouncers
I don't believe he was in the band
But you know, I think they looked at it as kind of a craft kind of thing in a way
Like, part of their identity was gonna be trying to work these machines
Rad, mad guitars, man
You could whip them
Yeah, they′re great, man
They have a great bass
The pump, the kick drum, the thing
Yeah, they got a good thing going
And good listeners
This is what I think they want, too
Good job with red hair, painting his arms
Kind of running down the street, covered dogs
They were threatening to call the newspapers
And, like, the newspapers were like, so why don't we do this?
Who's that?
Um, well, I think that pretty much the whole album
Pretty much sums up what we′ve been shooting for all along
I think it sucks in be called a Miami
Even way back then, you could tell by that voice
And you′re like, there's quality to it, man
They got the Dalmatian in the van
And I remember Brad just laying out there in the sun, man
Like, D, Boone was just laying out there like a big sea lion kind of thing
Making me play
And people don′t really know who he is stepping over
