A scream in my brain
My eyes open seein' bleeding in pain
Thought peace would remain
But woke up to the garden of eden in flames
Nervous as fuck emergency rush to the hospital
While trying to wake my girl from the shock
Vision blurry
But bein′ in such hurry I ignored it
And found little stability in seemin' to not worry
The idea of the whole thing just bein' a frivolous assumption
Was murked by the dissonance eruptin′
Frustration intensified when reachin′ the entrance
But soon the answer that would be relievin' the tension
The bit of hope that lived inside was surely evicted
As the doctor brought the news
It was already predicted
You died before reachin′ this earth
Along with my role as father
And the harbour of broken dreams and hurt
Had my relationship leavin' the dock
Leavin′ me stuck with a feelin'
Of bein′ cheated by luck
