I′ve been watching that old black crow
Hanging around my corn
I've got a forty dollar hat and a black suede box
That′s almost never been worn

She's got a warm sweet blueberry pie
Cooling on the window sill
You know I'd sure love to taste it
But I know I never will

I might have lost my touch

Then I saw the monkey with the golden tooth
Smoking by the pickering door
He said he′d sure like a keg
And now he wants to buy seventeen more
