Is afterlife gracious, eternal and free?
The blood on my hands is the blood of the innocent?

What's left behind is ruins and fear
A vision of death through flames turned to tears
In time this will heal, but the scars will never fade

Under cast-iron fist of the Lord
We were ordered to slaughter for His cause
Loving thy neighbor with a sharpened blade

I was told this was part of the plan
Claim the crown and unite the broken lands
All Gods are one, you serve a higher faith

And for this country I did bleed
You gave me the sword to guide and lead

Part the mists once more and

All the wisdom the Goddess must have
Couldn′t keep her from fading into black
Belief is like time, it only moves one way
