Nothing like a blank slate to get you thinking
Thought I′d start to see straight without the drinking
Hard to say goodbye with these eyes on the back of my head
Was looking for a restart, a clean divide
Thought that I could leave part of myself behind
I know I don't want to be what I′ve been, it's so easy to shed

I made a few corrections, I tried to realign
But me and my reflection don′t see eye to eye
It's so hard to change your ways when the days feel exactly the same
