I think it′s because they're afraid

Away from the simple life

Well maybe they're thinking
And simply drifting away
Away from the movie stars
Away from the car alarms
Away from all the people that get in their way

Nobody will talk to you in L.A
They don't seem to have much to say
They′ll ask you for money
But that′s all that's given away
