Down in the Blackness Songtext

Down in the Blackness Songtext

Upon the air there goes the fire
rings like a bell a′
across the divide
lets end this loathing
might we wander
and move in silence, through all the thunder
like we've always done
sometimes I feel down in the blackness
reaching upwards
falling backwards
and all my efforts, seem so feeeble

perfect intentions and imperfect people

and we will always be

but I can feel it all rushing back in
the fullness of my heart wont be emptied out again
and I swear I wont never be what I′ve been
the stillness of my heart wont be broken up again
there is a silence, its always stormin'
in the grinding gears, and in the traffic roarin'
we turn away until we can hear it
we close ourselves of
we dare not feel it

ooooh everyone

but I can feel it all rushing back in, the fullness of my heart wont be emptied out again
and I swear I wont ever be what I′ve been
the stillness of my heart wont be broken up again
