The Serpent Songtext
von Outside the Circle

Forever the serpent will crawl
And hide from its prey
Waiting for the kill
Wounded from battle
Severed and bleeding
Downfall, demise and sadness
Falling apart as I sing
Falling apart into nothing

Take me away
So far away

I am beheading the kingpin
Bring back the life to the lands
I am beheading the serpent
Bring back the peace that we lost

The goddess of power will crawl
And hide from its prey
Waiting for the kill

Downfall, demise and sorrow
Follow the star in the night
Follow the light as its fading
Follow the light as it′s dark

Take me away
So far away

I am beheading the kingpin
Bring back the life to the lands
I am beheading the serpent
Bring back the peace that we lost
