Started January 31st
On the night we met
When I first laid my eyes on you
I′ve never felt this way before
Till your tender lips and touch
Made me accidentally say "I love you"

Then for a couple weeks
You thought you weren't for me
We drifted ways
Though we spoke so casually
Then came the 2nd of March
Saw me for who I was
Held me tight in your warm embrace
As you drive us back to your place


Our summer love
Is a memory that lingers in my mind now darling
On the 2nd of April
Making love till dawn
You said to me "I love you"
Making me feel reassured

Then came the month of May
Helped me move out of home
Celebrate your birthday
Homies telling me "beware of Gemini′s"
"They will look you in your eyes"
"Say I love you"
"Then probably cheat on you"
Then we laugh for a while
Tell them "my man is fine"
Say "he been cheated on before"
And I assumed for sure
"Although he carries baggage"
"He be loving me right"
"And just the way he holds me close"
"I know he needs me at night"


Skip to the end of July
He thought we should move in together
Cause his momma kicked him out of her home
Then came the 16th of August
Moved in to our new place
Issues started to arise
But I thought that's normalised

I cried myself to sleep
Sleeping on my own
