I′ve never seen so many circles like I've seen here in this room
The clock hands they make circles but time just doesn′t move
One sad man with a chart in his hand, he circles a Mrs. name
If I could do just about anything it would be to take his pain

He said I want her and I need her
But all I can see are these circles

A silhouette walks into that room with half a circle on a stick
He wears nothing but his shadow and no one even notices
Sits down by the man and offers his hand
Says I'm the one you want to see
In spite of the things I'm sure you
Have heard I just came to set her free


He said I′ll take her and I′ll save her
And you will forget all these circles

A sad man wept in the palm of both his hands
He was swimming in the questions he just had to ask

The silhouette smiled underneath a crooked hood
He tilted back his head and let out a laugh
Said son you should know all the things that I could give her
So let her come with me to my home down on the river

A beautiful woman walks into that
Room with a yellow circle on her head
She walks out the door with a shadow and no one even notices
