Ice Castle Songtext
von Nordic Twilight

North wind awoke and came
Built a beautiful castle of dazzling ice
Bright shining untouchable
Creation so glorious yet unseen

And the heart of the castle in the sparkling hall
He walked in
Felt it
Heard the tempting call:
Break the ice! Break the ice!
Break the ice! Break the ice!
Let everything fall!

He broke the ice
Let the castle fall into countless pieces
He crushed the heart
Killed the dreams made of heavenly wishes
He broke the ice
Let the castle fall into countless pieces
He crushed the heart
Killed the dreams made of heavenly wishes

North wind awoke and came
Led the man to the palace of unfailing steel
Dark strong unbreakable
Found the one that he loved
And he made his home

And the heart of the castle in the sparkling hall
He walked in
Felt it
Heard the tempting call:
Break the ice! Break the ice!
Break the ice! Break the ice!
Let everything fall!

He broke the ice
Let the castle fall into countless pieces
He crushed the heart
Killed the dreams made of heavenly wishes
He broke the ice
Let the castle fall into countless pieces
He crushed the heart
Killed the dreams made of heavenly wishes

Only the ruins of the beautiful creature
Standing alone in the no-ones′ land
Only the memory of the sparkling chrystal towers
And the heart of the castle of broken dreams

Break the ice! Break the ice!
Break the ice! Break the ice!
Let everything fall!

He broke the ice
Let the castle fall into countless pieces
He crushed the heart
Killed the dreams made of heavenly wishes
He broke the ice
Let the castle fall into countless pieces
He crushed the heart
Killed the dreams made of heavenly wishes

North wind awoke and came
