Number One (a) Songtext
von Nigel Jenkins

We all try to compete for a piece of the pie
They want the biggest slice
But so do I
So we have to work that hard
To make it better
′Cause the competition's
Tough enough to break you

And with what we share
We′re never second best

We're number one
We're number one
And we′ve been first
Since we began
We′re number one
We're number one

So maybe there′s more to life than success
Right now that's what they want
And nothing less
We have the greatest pride
In what we′re building up
'Cause the competition′s
Strong enough to hurt sometimes

And with what we share
We're never second best

We're number one
We′re number one
And we′ve been first
Since we began
We're number one
We′re number one

We're number one
We′re number one
And we've been first
Since we began
We′re number one
We're number one
We're number one
