I roll up and smoke my medication
I won′t live a life that's predicated
On your bullshit lies, you′ll never change me
They always say you'll never make it
I know that I'm often better safe than
Sorry if I know what to refrain from
Money on my mind and I hate it but it′s gotta be
Blessing and a curse when you′re growing up a prodigy
Up and down the coast I'm respected by a lotta G′s
And the only thing that's ever stoppin′ me is me
And you could never be
A bigger enemy than myself is, you see
The fiend that's buried underneath
I′m battling my demons, balancing my health


With a vice list, that's got a vice grip
On my better judgement, try to break these habits
Heart is frozen over, think I need an ice pick
Wonder where the love went, had to make it tragic 'cause it is
But bet I see the beauty in the break down
I got pride in myself, my city and my state now
I need someone to teach me how to take a break now
