Indian Summer Songtext

The coffee is already on the table and the radio is on
It′s the first day of this autumn
And I have to turn the morning light on
On the outside it's still dark and the nights are getting longer
Where remains the day the summer disappeared without a trace
Where′s the sunlight in my face
Which has woken me up and asleep under the rug

All the problems that worry me
She helps me

If I can't see her she reminds me of an Indian summer
And of colourful trees
If she's standing behind me I have no fear of dying
Cause I don′t need fire and the summer turns to ice

In the last few days she has become my inspiration
My good soul, the good angel on my side
Yes I′ve tried to be wide eyed and everyday to save my own eye
For this sight flows slowly out
Yes she is the only constant thing in my life with ups and downs
She's the only eternal

Yes I walk on by, I don′t dry my little tears away
And follow false calls from the wild wind side

If I can't see her she reminds me of an Indian summer
And of colourful trees
If she′s standing behind me I have no fear of dying
Cause I don't need fire and the summer turns to ice
Cause I don′t need fire and the summer turns to ice

What would I do for a day or two if she would leave
I would get out of my head like an arrow in the brain
Oh yeah if I turn away from the stabilizing pole my side
It would be like a fist that strikes me, that strikes me

If I can't see her she reminds me of an Indian summer
And of colourful trees
If she's standing behind me I have no fear of dying
Cause I don′t need fire and the summer turns to ice
Cause I don′t need fire and the summer turns to ice

Cause I don't need fire and the summer turns to ice
Cause I don′t need fire and the summer turns to ice
