Thunderous rain clouds battered and clawed
A cavernous town just miles from the shore
Whipped, the whistling winds once more
The elements gave birth to a wretched force

Through whispers and secrets the citizens knew
The auditory potions this force could brew
The myths, malicious, macabre they shared
Feelings and thoughts they shan′t be sparred

"What now?" Echoed the frivolous girls
Picking their skin, biting their curls
"What can we do? Where can we go?
If we try hide the MOSKITO will know"

"We fight!" Squeaked the boy with blonde hair
"Their blistering harmonies - they shall not bare"
Murmured agreements they stood hand in hand
"Their music shall not control this land!"


But before the town ran out to sea
Pipped a boy with long hair - "please hear my plea"
The boy was short, not 5ft tall
With a charming, wrinkled face, he called

"I know their kind, oh all too well
Dispel your fears, the myths you tell
Their home it lies upon the coast
Hear me share the skills they boast

"Tender, abrasive and dark, they blend
Powers and forces before them they lend
Frighting they look, but feelings they cook
Will guide you where no others dare to look"

A calming of waves and a breath of wind,
A chorus the hatchlings had started to sing
A shrug from the trees, that seemed to show
A beckoning nod that nature knows

This force, curious, possibly dangerous too
Beyond the hard shell - a warm pink slew
Of love, respect, loyalty and the rest
This potion they create
Drink it proudly
With your chest
