Lazy Songtext

Lazy Songtext
All day long I sit in the kitchen
And stare out the window at the yard
I don′t wash the floor, I don't clean the mess
I′m just plain lazy I guess
I hate to cook and I don't like to clean
And hangin' out the clothes just makes me mean
I don′t wanna dust, don′t wanna scrub
And why the hell would I clean the tub?
I'm really not sure, maybe something′s wrong
Maybe I'm sick in the head
′Cause all I want to do is lock the door
And crawl back into my bed
Sittin' in the kitchen wastin′ my time
I ain't got a nickel and I ain't worth a dime
I don′t wanna work, I don′t wanna play
And I sure as hell don't wanna clean today
The hangers fill with clothes and there they′ll stay
'Cause I don′t feel like washin' today
The papers are piled high on the floor
Maybe later on I′ll push 'em out the door
Milk spills out the window and dust two inches deep
I don't have to hurry though ′cause I know it′ll keep
Dishes in the sink, garbage in the pail
That can wait till later, right now I'll check the mail
Oh I can′t get my ass in gear it seems
Spend my days weavin' foolish dreams
I should be cookin′ or cleanin' this mess
But I′m just plain lazy I guess
'Cause all day long I sit in the kitchen
And stare out the window at the yard
I don't wash the floor, I don′t clean the mess
I′m just plain lazy I guess
I'm just plain lazy I guess
I′m just plain lazy I guess
I'm just plain lazy I guess
And stare out the window at the yard
I don′t wash the floor, I don't clean the mess
I′m just plain lazy I guess
I hate to cook and I don't like to clean
And hangin' out the clothes just makes me mean
I don′t wanna dust, don′t wanna scrub
And why the hell would I clean the tub?
I'm really not sure, maybe something′s wrong
Maybe I'm sick in the head
′Cause all I want to do is lock the door

Sittin' in the kitchen wastin′ my time

I'm just plain lazy I guess
