The Beginner Songtext
von Miranda Lee Richards

I don′t know where I'm going
But I got no reason to fear
(I got no reason to fear)
I′m gonna roll with the changes
I'm gonna play it by ear
(I'm gonna play it by ear)

I′m improvising as I go along
I got no excuse if it all goes wrong
And if you′re wondering how it feels
I'm only trying to keep it real

I got my eye on the road
I got my hand on the wheel
(I got my hand on the wheel)
I′m gonna keep on driving
'Til the truth is revealed, oh
(′Til the truth is revealed)

I'm improvising as I go along
I got no excuse if it all goes wrong
And if you′re wondering how it feels
I'm only trying to keep it real

Alright, come on, take it easy, babe
We're taking a ride to the moon tonight
Baby, don′t you worry

They say I′m a pretender
They say I'm a charlatan
Well, if you′re never a beginner
How you ever gonna begin, oh
(How you gonna begin?)

I'm improvising as I go along
I got no excuse if it all goes wrong
And if you′re wondering how it feels
I'm only trying to keep it real

I′ve got no script, I got no plan
And I'm just doing the best I can
And if you're wondering how it feels
I′m only trying to keep it real

Alright, that′s right
Take it easy, babe
We're taking a ride to the moon tonight
Baby, don′t you worry
We're taking a ride to the moon tonight
Baby, don′t you worry
We're taking a ride to the moon tonight
Baby, don′t you worry
