Demolition Zone Songtext

Demolition Zone Songtext
Flew in to the town where I was born
As we drew in, saw the rising of the dawn
Driving downtown I felt a sudden chill
I could swear that time had just stood still
For there was the school where I broke every rule as a boy
Right here on a schoolyard wall
Served to show me that kids don′t change at all
They all say things they wish they didn't say
But they learn with time words go away
Now there is the church where for me they would search on a Sunday
The hot summer days in the park
And the cold winter nights after dark
Like when I told my mother I once had a brother
She smiled
These there are the streets I have known
Now I′m taking you, taking you to see my home
We were married a long, long way away
But I have always waited for this day
But where is my home? It says "Demolition Zone"
