Barbie Songtext
von Marcus Eaton

If I were Ken
And you were a Barbie Doll
I′d take you in my pink Ferrari
Drive you down to the shopping mall
Buy you an outfit
That would look good in Malibu
A tiny little tanktop
With some plastic matching shoes too

People ask me 'Ken, why are you so happy?′
I say 'One reason is that Barbie and I get it on'
Plus the other reason is that I can′t really frown
Cause my smile is painted on

People think I live in such a dreamland
With all my cars and my plastic motorhomes
Everyone on my street looks exactly like I do
You could swear that we were genetic clones
Barbie is a pain to deal with
Always concerned about little things like her hair
Makes me want to escape the suburbs where we live
Step out into the country air

People ask me ′Ken why are you so happy?'
I say ′One reason is that Barbie and I get it on'
Plus the other reason is that I can′t really frown
Cause my smile is painted on

People ask me 'Ken why are you so happy?′
I say 'One reason is that Barbie and I get it on'
Plus the other reason is that I can′t really frown
Cause my smile is painted
Cause my smile is painted
Cause my smile is
Painted on
