Got the hum in the back of my head
Like the sound of you moving your lawn
Or a generator in a storm keeping my house lights on
Constant underlying sound that drives you crazy
Gettin′ louder every day I don't open my mouth
But that′s piled up first in stacks and topple over
Crumbling everything else around


Run things down trying to, swept them out
But nothing is changed in the end
Maybe because I'm lazy or just don't know how
Spelled it all out there for me to see
A leaky faucet of unsuppressed memories
Feeling so strong you have nowhere else to go
