On the horizon our gaze

Led by a lonely deer
Into the green lands
Towards that moment where greens
And blues bleaken in time
The weight of our heart′s at a standstill in time
The tender remembrance of years long gone by
The flow of our heartstrings wave
Until the ripples fade
The nomads we were have gone
Into a realm of yore
Turned into stone
