The year is 2011.
I′m walking the halls of my middle school
With my face buried in a notebook full of raps lyrics
My teachers are telling me I need to pay attention in class more.
I didn't listen.
I never listened.
I lost pretty much all of my friends. I was up in my room studying the classics while
They were in someone′s basement getting plastered.
We just grew apart.
I made a promise to myself that I'd never end up like that.
One day I want to take over the world,
But before I do that, I need the key to the city.
