When I tried to speak, I made a loud grunting sound
Everywhere I walked, seemed to be on muddy ground
My reflection was strange and made me look rather pale
My nose was flat, my ears hung down, I had a curly tail

I remember talking to the monkey man
He said everything would be okay ′cause he had a plan
I don't recall what happened next, was it mice or men?
If pigs might fly, would I have been one of them?


My hands were shaking, my mouth was dry
My aspirations were flying high
Was it the keeper, it′s hard to tell
Who let me into heaven and hell
If the room was a lie and the sky was my world
Would I have stayed if he hadn't come by?
Was it the shepherd, it's hard to tell
Who let me out of heaven and hell

Was it heaven or hell?

When I look back, it makes me feel rather small
Eyes were laughing at me as I climbed the wall
