Complete tunnel vision of "can′t stop, won't stop"
Until an intruder crashed your world around you
Leaving nothing but raw, poisoned earth
No drum is beaten and no dog barks
You are on the ground, might as well be in the ground
Or so they say, "flatline" they say


You tell yourself "I′ve fought too long to surrender now"
And you begin to claw out of the dirt
You fall and fall but always get back up
You spit at the vultures circling above
And curse the black rose that brought you here
Slowly you rise, absorbing energy along the way with every move
There is no middle ground
This is your time and you cannot be denied

But to truly resurrect and come back from the dead
You need a king
