I stumbled down this lonesome road of life alone
Trying to figure out which way to turn
My shoulders raw from the world I bear on my own
So many times I′d hurt before I learn

My peace I find in you
Your wondrous book of truth
And now I have to thank you everyday

You put my feet on solid ground
You know you turn my life around
You are the ONE who created the Universe!
So, now the old is new
And I give my life to you
You gave me life at my worst

And now I am discipled in your Holy Word
A martyr, in the Prophet's cause of right
No longer victim to the lies I′ve heard
I reach out of my darkness towards your light

As children we have grown
His miracle unfolds
We use our gifts to help in everyway

You are the ONE who created the Universe!
So, now the old is new
