The Gates Songtext
von Graveshadow

Golden eyes shining with the setting sun
Brothers lie, carrying their toll to Charon
For a face, some pretty face that burned the endless towers of Troy
And doomed a thousand sails
But on this day
A hero may be born of us all
Bravery shall travel down in history
And all the world will know the blood which spilled upon the sands
And songs of our tales shall be sung forever more
Storm the gates
Rise, for honor we fight
Glory lies beyond the wall
Let gods ignite the flame
Of war, immortal we die
And though they send us to the afterlife
We will continue on
Though we all fall down
Bloodied lies, a young boy dead upon the sands
Hear the cry of Myrmidons sworn to avenge
They will lead battalions through the city streets

No time for fear, don your armor now
For into battle we go marching
On our swords we′ll slay them one by one
To Hades we will travel
Legend calling out our names
Darkness falls, yet we remain
And though we may fall we will rise again
Storm the gates
Rise, for honor we fight
Glory lies beyond the wall
Let gods ignite the flame
Of war, immortal we die
And though they send us to the afterlife
We will continue on
Though we all fall down
Storm the gates
Rise, for honor we fight
Glory lies beyond the wall
Let gods ignite the flame
Of war, immortal we die
And though they send us to the afterlife
We will continue on
Though we all fall down
Our memories be darkened by death nevermore
Storm the gates
Rise, for honor we fight
Glory lies beyond the wall
Let gods ignite the flame
Of war, immortal we die
Storm the gates
Rise, for honor we die
