Yesterday's Sunshine Songtext
von Grapefruit

Now we thought about it, talked about it
Very sad to say
We′ve seen the light of day
It couldn't happen my way

Simple plans and those old-fashioned dreams
Have blown away
To think that I believed in her
And she′ll be leaving me

Yesterday's sunshine
Is kissing the rain today
Something is kind of
Never the same again
So many other things
I'd like to say
But yesterday′s sunshine
Kissing the rain

Now I feel confused
And I′ve been losing track of time and place
I'm neither here nor there
But I can clearly see
Sweet tomorrow in the hollow
Taking to the air
Since knowing I believed in her
And she′ll be leaving me

Yesterday's sunshine
Is kissing the rain today, huh
Something is kind of
Never the same again
So many other things
I′d like to say
But yesterday's sunshine
Yesterday′s sunshine is kissing the rain
