Always Be Proud Songtext
von Gordon Chambers

Always be proud of what you′ve overcome
And always be proud of all the battles you've won
And always be proud of all of your darkest days
The tears you held back when you walked away
And always be proud of your mom and your dad
And whatever affair that they once had
Always be proud of your very first kiss
And always be proud of every friend that you miss

Always...
Always be proud
And let your heart soar among the clouds
And don′t let the hard times get you down
Instead with your soul just sing out loud
And always be proud

And always be proud of all of the dreams you've achieved
The people you worked with that you never deceived
And always be proud of all of the love that you'll give
To the ones who will leave you that you still will forgive
And always be proud of your biggest mistakes
The lessons you′ve learned, every choice that you make
Always reach for that highest star
And always be proud of the man or woman you are

Always...
Always be proud
And let your heart soar among the clouds
And don′t let the hard times get you down
Instead with your soul just sing out loud
And always be proud

Through the good times, be proud
Through the bad times, be proud
Even through the ups and downs, be proud
Keep your heart open and be proud
Never give up, be proud
Know that in God you trust
When you feel like you can't go on
Just remember this song
And always...

Always be proud
And let your heart soar among the clouds
And don′t let the hard times get you down
Instead with your soul just sing out loud
And always be proud

Through the good times, be proud
Through the bad times, be proud
Even through the ups and downs, be proud
Keep your heart open and be proud
Never give up, be proud
Know that in God you trust
When you feel like you can't go on
Just remember this song
And always...

Always be proud
And let your heart soar among the clouds
And don′t let the hard times get you down
Instead with your soul just sing out loud
And always be proud
