I′ve got some pictures about what I was looking at a while ago
And, uh, of course I was a little boy
8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, that's all I wanted to do
You know, I wanted to put on those boots and I wanted that hat
I wanted everything, just like, just like him, see

But in the late teens, then, uh, early 20s, I didn′t wanna do that
'Cause I wasn't a lil′ boy anymore
And if I did something different, or it was that bad
You know, when I started doing things I wanted to do
That′s when it got kinda rough
